According to wikipedia The storylines of the two youths, Marinette Dupain-Cheng and Adrien Agreste, who transform into their heroic personalities, Ladybug and Cat Noir, respectively, utilising mystical jewels known as the Miraculous when evil threatens, take place in contemporary Paris.
Together, Marinette, Alya, and her other pals head to André’s, a glacier, for some ice cream. Under the influence of Hawk Moth, André’s glacier transforms into Glaciator, an ice cream snowman monster with the ability to turn humans into ice cream.
